 Hey Supermonkey2904
Just wanted to wish you lots of luck for your interview coming up. I would just say dont be too nervous...(i know.. easier said than done !!) and just be yourself. When i attended the selection event back in December i found it quite relaxed and my interview felt more like a friendly chat. There were quite a few other people there, so i would say be prepared for a long wait !! you may be there a while.!..GOOD LUCK  :cheerleader:
keep us posted !

Hi Mo

At this moment I am in the dark as to where the interview will be held, whether it is for diploma or degree, and whether it will be this next semester or September..........
Sounds odd, but the Trust I work for have offered secondments on a short notice and they still have to fill in the blanks for me.
I am not complaining though. It is something I wish I had done years ago.

I am looking forward to the challenges ahead though, as I expect we all are.

Paul

P.s Nice to meet you

Hi Paul,
If you could get seconded that would be ideal  ...I enquired about the possibility of being seconded but unfortunatley was told that there was no possibility of it, due to my trust trying to save money, etc etc ! and i may have been too late to apply too :boohoo:
I think that if your interview is in March, you may start September this year or it could be for next April....I would enquire at your interview...
What are you hopling to do Diploma or Degree ? I am doing the Diploma better for me financially!!!
ta ta for now !
Mo

Thanks Mo

It would be good to keep in touch as we are about to spend the next 3 years together........In one sense.

I have no idea of the exact date yet, they did mention the paperwork may take a while as things like CRB can't be done too early.

What area do you think you will be doing your placements in? Mine will be Blackpool as this is the area I live in.

What an emotional rollercoaster this has been, and the course has not even started yet!!!

Hiya Mo

I am slowly making my way back to earth............

The next thing on my agenda is to decide whether to drive or get train to Uni?? I will probably use train so I dont have to worry about parking and fees..and I can do my bit for the environment...lol

Have you met any students on our cohort? I am trying to get to know a few before we start so its not so daunting on that first day!!!!!!! Strength in numbers..lol, and as you mentioned previously, we can exchange experiences leading upto starting.

I may even stretch as far to create a Uclan -Sept 2010 Facebook page.. (Far to much time on my hands, which will soon change)

The clock is counting down now......

Paul
